Wanting to keep a traditional look with a slightly updated approach to the flourishing
and decorated letter, this piece was completed using very fine Copperplate lettering.
The work uses a combination of Japanese ink and gouache, and combines flourishing with
more modern fine lines to provide balance to the piece.
This piece won First Prize in the Royal Melbourne Show.
